Hwacheon’s T2 Multi Axis Turning – Milling Center

The Hwacheon T2 is a powerful twin spindle, twin turret, high torque, milling and turning center. The T2 offers contract job shops the ideal resource for cycle time reduction with the highest horse power and torque.

The T2 multi axis turning and milling center was designed to increase the throughput, reduce part cost and achieve tight capabilities on cast, forged and bar type applications involving complex material types for chucking, shaft turning and milling operations. The T2 Series Lathe has a total of 8 axis (6 for feed and 2 for live tooling), which has 1 or 2 main opposed spindles complemented by an optional Y axis in the upper turret. This high torque powerhouse will produce high profits for companies looking to reduce part and labor cost. With milling capabilities of 6,000 RPM, 10 HP and 60 NM of torque, work in process can be eliminated on secondary milling operations. The integral main spindle motors eliminate the need for belts and thus no possible vibration for a perfect finish possibility.
