The recent event at the newly renovated EMUGE Technology Center in West Boylston, MA was a huge success! Many of you joined us for an incredibly educational day to focus on the future of 5-axis work. Those that attended watched a 5-axis milling demonstration using the newest solid carbide circle segment milling cutters to create a mock blisk blade from a P-20 tool steel bar stock.
This joint venture between Brooks, Emuge, and Mastercam was well received by customers with many leaving having learned quite a bit about where they might take their company in the future. The live demonstration featured a comparison of traditional ball nose milling verses new circle segment oval form cutter strategies. Customers also had an opportunity to see demonstrations of traditional 3-Axis milling, drilling, tapping and thread milling using Mastercam’s Dynamic Tool Path strategy and Hurco conversational programming.
If you missed this event but would like the chance to see any of these demonstrations give us a call, lets see how you can put this dynamic team of companies to work for you.
